12 How do I apply a Topcoat?

You can apply the topcoat right after your stamping is done.

Make sure you have enough of the topcoat on the brush and touch the nail lightly by going down the middle of your nail, then to the right and then to the left covering the whole nail.  Do not go over it more than once and don’t press too hard with the topcoat brush because you may smear your design.

I also finish off my topcoat with a gel application made by Nailene.  It makes my nail art look like it is under glass and keeps my artwork protected without chips.  It is an amazing product because you don’t need an expensive UV light. You can purchase the Nailene Kits at Shoppers Drug Mart or Walmart. Please see my video on applying Nailene gel.
